Learning Pathway: Class 1
Effective April 1, 2025, the Class 1 Learning Pathway will replace the Class 1 Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT) program. The new pathway offers a flexible, apprentice-style approach to support new drivers in their ongoing career development.
- Refresher Class 1 – Hourly rate
- Introductory Class 3 – includes 10 hours of training
- Intermediate Class 3 – includes 13 hours of training
- Refresher Class 3 – Hourly rate
- Class 1 and Class 3 evaluations – Hourly rate (minimum 2 hours)
The length of the program and the specific courses involved in the program are dependent upon which level of training you enroll in.
